Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center has hired William “Bill” Peterson as chief human resources officer, working with Sierra Vista’s nearly 800 employees.

Peterson previously spent three years as director of human resources at JFK Memorial Hospital in Indio, a sister Tenet facility, and eight years as director of human resources at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Okla.

He’s a graduate of Briar Cliff University, where he graduated summa cum laude in business administration and human resources management, according to a news release.
