Today is the last day to apply for seats on elected bodies in San Luis Obispo Countys Nov. 6 election.
Among the seats available in North County government are spots for city councils in Paso Robles and Atascadero; community services districts in Templeton, San Miguel, Heritage Ranch and Creston Hills Ranch; and the Garden Farms Community Water District.

Heres a look at whats been filed in North County cities as of noon Thursday.
Paso Robles City Council
Three seats: the two-year mayoral position and two four-year council seats. Incumbents seeking re-election are Mayor Duane Picanco and council members Fred Strong and Nick Gilman.
Newcomers Steve Martin and Jim Reed have filed.
Also on the ballot: four-year city clerk seat with incumbent Dennis Fansler seeking re-election and a four-year city treasurer seat with incumbent Mike Compton seeking re-election.
Atascadero City Council
Three seats: the two-year mayoral position and two four-year council seats. Incumbents seeking re-election are Mayor Bob Kelley and council members Tom OMalley and Roberta Fonzi.
Newcomers Ann Ketcherside and Bret Heinemann have filed.
This will be the first year Atascadero has an elected mayor.
OMalley was running unopposed for the mayor seat Thursday.
If he is elected, the City Council must appoint a new council member to serve the remaining two years on his council seat.
If OMalley loses, he would finish out his term as a councilman.
