I recently read that the county Board of Supervisors tried to pass an ordinance that would put a restraint on our free speech right because of the Occupy SLO movement. What will the Board of Supervisors or someone else put restraints on next? I was born with a voice from my creator, and if my beliefs are put in danger, I have the right to stand up for myself.

I think it’s childish to put a free speech restriction on everyone because of the acts of one group. SLO County, of all places, is a place where I thought we left out petty big political actions. I know one thing is that people will never just sit around and let people take away their freedoms as seen in the many public comments made. Look at how many wars we have had about freedoms. I can also bet that many, like myself, will never re-elect anyone in support of limitations on our free speech.
