Does anybody care about the cattle that are left to fend for themselves next to Highway 101, south of Santa Maria near Telegraph Hill? There is no water, no food, no trees for shade and just dirt. They are left there day in and day out. They lie in their urine to keep cool. They stretch their necks as far as they can through barbed wire fences to try to reach anything green.

Doesn’t anyone care about the welfare of these animals? Why does everyone turn a blind eye to them?
