The northbound fast lane on Highway 101 across the Santa Maria River Bridge will close from 10 p.m. tonight to 5 a.m. Saturday, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
Caltrans said it needed the closure from Broadway south of the bridge to the Route 166 exit in order to replace a crash cushion, which was damaged in a traffic accident Friday Friday morning.
Caltrans said it would put up message signs about the closure, and warned motorists to expect slight delays.
