Paso Robles police have arrested a pair of juveniles who allegedly attacked a third young man, sliced his arm with a knife, and robbed him Monday.

According to police, who are not releasing the names of either the underage suspects or the victim, the two teenagers accosted the victim at 10:25 p.m. on the 1900 block of Creston Road.

They demanded his property and, when he refused to comply, cut and punched him and took it. They fled on foot.

Police soon found one of the two suspects in the 200 block of Scott Street, and arrested him on suspicion of felony robbery, felony assault with a deadly weapon and probation violation.

On Tuesday night, police found the second suspect shortly before 11 p.m. in the 300 block of Via Ramona and arrested him on suspicion of felony robbery.

The victim’s knife wound was minor and did not require medical treatment, police said.

The department is continuing the investigation and says that at this point the crime does not appear to be gang-related.
