Cambria Landing Inn is bought by Pacifica Hotel Company

Cambria Landing Inn at 6530 Moonstone Beach Drive in Cambria has been purchased by Pacifica Hotel Company, a California-based hospitality company that owns and manages 24 coastal hotels, including three others in Cambria.

The purchase price for the 27-room hotel, formerly owned by Tom and Penny Hitch of Cambria, was not disclosed. Pacifica, the largest owner/operator of boutique hotels on the Pacific Coast, plans to immediately upgrade and enhance the guestrooms.

The inn features ocean views, in-room Jacuzzi tubs, fireplaces and wireless Internet and is pet friendly.

Pacifica also owns Pelican Inn & Suites, FogCatcher Inn and Best Western Plus Fireside Inn in Cambria; the Spyglass, Cottage and Sandcastle inns in Pismo Beach; Holiday Inn Express in San Luis Obispo; and Pacifica Suites in Santa Barbara.
