Published: June 28, 2012

The San Luis Obispo Blues were held to four hits and lost for the third consecutive time after falling 7-0 to the Orange County Pioneers at SLO Stadium on Thursday night in a summer collegiate baseball game.

The Blues (16-9, 11-7 California Collegiate League) fell behind 4-0 in the third inning, never threatening the lead. Nick Flair was the lone San Luis Obispo player who had more than one hit as he finished 2 for 4 with one double.

Four San Luis Obispo pitchers combined to give up 11 hits, with Darrell Miller going 3 for 4 with two RBI for the Pioneers.

The Blues’ three-game losing streak is their longest of the season.
