Just read about the county bike coalition on the Bob Jones Bike Trail, etc. (“Bike coalition trying to get paths moving,” June 19). I feel that the bike riders of the state could step up. I think a $5 or $10 yearly sticker could be bought to put on bikes on the road. Just put on a plate and transfer to any bike you want to ride, no registration, just a sticker.

The money raised would be used for trails, paths, etc. and for the paint Caltrans uses for the bike lanes.
