Visitors find Cambria a beautiful place to visit. Cambrians find this visitor beautiful. A peacock complete with full glorious plumage was spotted on Main Street near the Blue Bird Inn in East Village early Tuesday morning, June 19. By the afternoon, its presence had been ‘tweeted’ about on Twitter by @bluebirdinn. By the evening, it was spotted by the Pewter Plough Playhouse, then near the Main Street Grill, further west in West Village. According to local photographer Will Espada, who took these photos, a tourist called 911, two teens “bird-dogged” the peacock into a tree and, eventually, Pacific Wildlife Care arrived and took the fair fowl into its care.
