At least nine injured due to heat at Camp Roberts

As many as nine people have suffered heat exhaustion-related injuries at Camp Roberts this evening, according to CalFire.

Three ambulances have been dispatched to the California Army National Guard base, and an unknown number of victims have been taken to Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton.

Temperatures in the North County broke 100 degrees today. Paso Robles Airport recorded 107 degrees at 5 p.m. today.

Camp Roberts officials would not comment on the incident as of 7:30 p.m.
