San Miguel Olive Farm wins five awards

Olive growers Richard and Myrna Meisler of the San Miguel Olive Farm recently won five awards from various industry competitions, including Best in Show, Best in Class, two gold medals and a silver medal for their Tuscan blend 100 percent Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

San Miguel Olive Farm is a small artisan olive grower that produces fewer than 2,000 gallons of extra-virgin olive oil a year.

Richard Meisler, 73, planted his first olive trees in 2007. He and his wife of 32 years, Myrna, maintain all 1,200 trees on their 10-acre farm in San Miguel.
