Grover Beach police say they arrested two people early Sunday in connection with the burglary of a West Grand Avenue business.

About 4:15 p.m., an officer found two people inside a parked car behind Grateful Threads at 957 W. Grand, and two more people coming out of the closed shop, according to a Grover Beach Police Department press release.

After the latter two ran away, Grover Beach and Arroyo Grande officers surrounded the area and found them nearby, police said.

During their investigation, officers found someone also tried to break into the Taco Bell restaurant at 1500 W. Grand, according to police.

Police say this burglary was similar to others in Arroyo Grande, Morro Bay, Pismo Beach and San Luis Obispo.

The people arrested were Naomi Rose Downs, 28, of Nipomo; and Michael Keith Downs, 29; Monique Kimberly Ryan, 28; and Matthew Troy Skinner, 38 — all of Atascadero.
