A 2003 graduate of Paso Robles High School was killed in what is being investigated as a hit-and-run in Santa Barbara on Wednesday morning.

Allison Meadows, 26, of Santa Barbara died of massive head trauma after being driven to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital by two men who found her and another woman near Sheffield Drive.

Lindsay Keebler, 26, also of Santa Barbara, was in critical condition.

Santa Barbara-based news website Noozhawk reported that CHP investigators say Meadows and Keebler were struck by a vehicle as they walked along a darkened road early Wednesday. Authorities have not disclosed any other details about the incident.
