Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton was recognized for its work to prevent health care-associated infections. Those are illnesses that patients develop while in a hospital for other treatment.
According to a news release from Twin Cities, the hospital was one of 11 nationally to be recognized during the recent American Association of Critical-Care Nurses national teaching institute and critical-care exposition.
The federal Department of Health and Human Services and the Critical Care Societies Collaborative honored Twin Cities.
