Now casting for ‘Legally Blonde’ dog

Published: May 17, 2012

The Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts (PCPA) has put out a casting call for a Chihuahua to fill the role of Bruiser, the main character’s dog, in its upcoming production of “Legally Blonde.”

To pass the audition, the dog should be tan-colored, must be comfortable riding in a purse and wearing a sweater, and must be up for a two-month gig, June 19 to Aug. 19, at the PCPA theaters in Santa Maria and Solvang.

The canine actor will be watered and fed and pampered and spoiled by his very own dog wrangler.

If you think your Chihuahua has what it takes to play Bruiser, call Erik Stein at 928-7731, ext. 4119.
