California State Controller John Chiang will be the guest at a reception and fundraiser hosted by the San Luis Obispo County Democratic Party on May 11.

The meeting will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the home of Tom and Susan Stenovec in San Luis Obispo.

“John Chiang has been instrumental in making California’s finances more transparent and accountable to the public,” said Pat Harris, chair of the San Luis Obispo County Democratic Party.

Harris said the event will help raise money for expanded office space.
