‘Retirement planning is not something pets do well. They assume what life is like today will repeat itself for all the tomorrows to come.

“Thomasina is a specialist. She’s focused her companion animal efforts on women. Due to her years of service, she’s looking for a home where she can continue to be a woman’s companion cat, ideally where she’s the only feline in the household.

“Thomasina’s a beautiful black tabby who’s in excel lent health. Being a senior, she’s eligible for an ASAP Senior Cat Adoption Fee Rebate.

The adoption fee is $75 for cats and $100 for dogs, plus a $23 county license fee for dogs if the adopters are San Luis Obispo County residents. The adoption fee includes spay or neuter, basic vaccinations, microchip, eligibility for a free veterinarian check, new collar and ID tag and carrier for cats.
