Two abandoned horses have been discovered in North County in recent weeks, and the Sheriffs Office rural crime unit is seeking information about them.
The first horse, a 20-year-old thoroughbred bay gelding, was found in Paso Robles on Creston Road and South El Pomar. He is approximately 16.2 hands high and has an unreadable tattoo on his upper lip.
The second horse was found on Estrella Road in Paso Robles. The light brownish-grey gelding is approximately 15 hands high.
Members of the rural crime unit are asking anyone with information about the horses to contact them at 781-4550.
