Because of work on the Willow Road project, Thompson Avenue in Nipomo will be closed intermittently between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. starting Monday and lasting through April 13.

Flagmen will direct traffic, according to Dale Ramey of the San Luis Obispo County Public Works Department, who added that motorists should expect five-minute delays.

Willow Road interchange work is expected to be completed and open to traffic by the end of this year, possibly sooner, Ramey said.
