You’ll have to spend more than $75 to see legendary hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg perform in San Luis Obispo this May.

One of the biggest acts to emerge from the West Coast hip-hop scene, Snoop Dogg is scheduled to perform May 11 at SLO Brewing Co. His hits include “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” “Gin and Juice” and “What’s My Name.”

The rapper, who has previously performed at SLO Brewing Co. and the Pozo Saloon, even name-drops the Central Coast in his music. In the 2011 song “My Own Way,” Snoop Dogg raps, “My mama house ain't in the hood no more/ I moved her out to Saint Lou Obispo.”

Tickets for the ages-21-and-over show, which cost $76 for general admission and $356 for V.I.P., go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at Boo Boo Records in downtown San Luis Obispo.
