SL Coastal school board to discuss leasing unused school sites

Published: March 26, 2012

The San Luis Coastal Board of Trustees is holding a special study session on Tuesday from 4 to 5:30 p.m. to discuss the lease of unused school sites including Morro Elementary School, the former Pacheco Elementary School, and Sunnyside Elementary.

Other properties owned by the school district in Avila Beach, on Froom Ranch Road and on Johnson Avenue will also be discussed as the board seeks ways to make revenue with those sites.

The meeting is open to the public, but public comment will not be taken. The school district is asking that all comments on the discussion be shared at the school board’s next regularly scheduled meeting on April 24.

The meeting will be held in the District Conference Room B3 at the District Administration Complex, 1500 Lizzie St. For more information, call 549-1202.
