Drew Carey, host of The Price Is Right, will attend this years San Luis Obispo International Film Festival, organizers confirmed.
Carey is scheduled to arrive Friday at Hearst Ranchs private airfield in San Simeon, just in time for a special screening of Citizen Kane at Hearst Castle, festival director Wendy Eidson said.
We are delighted to have Drew Carey join in on the fun, she said.
Before the screening, Carey will join other celebrities and a few lucky festival attendees for a private tour of publishing magnate William Randolph Hearsts hilltop mansion. Hell also conduct a question-and-answer session with celebrity photographer Timothy White, who is receiving the festivals newly created Spotlight Award.
Cowboys & Aliens star Harrison Ford was originally slated to attend Fridays event.
Unfortunately, its looking very unlikely he will be able to leave the movie hes working on, Eidson said in an email. We had high hopes, and he really wants to be here, but I dont think hes going to make it.
Meanwhile, Men in Black 3 actor Josh Brolin is scheduled to stop by Thursdays Sports Nite screening of the surf documentary Finnsurf at the Fremont movie theater in San Luis Obispo. Brolin, a former county resident, serves on the festivals advisory board.
