North Coast residents are invited to attend a “Meet the Sheriff” town hall meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Cavalier Cove Room of Cavalier Plaza, 250 San Simeon Road, San Simeon.
Sheriff Ian Parkinson plans to bring members of his staff, including Undersheriff Martin Basti, the North Coast’s resident Senior Deputy Todd Steeb and one of the department’s new canine units (a deputy and his trained dog).
Also expected to attend are representatives from Supervisor Bruce Gibson’s office, Cal Fire, county Code Enforcement, Food Bank Coalition, Employment Development Department, Regional Transit Authority, APTwater (San Simeon Community Services District’s management firm) and others.
