Motorists can expect up to 30-minute delays Thursday on Highway 1 just north of Limekiln Creek, about 48 miles north of Cambria and 25 miles south of Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park.
Caltrans crews assisted by a helicopter plan to place cable netting on the slope above the highway from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The area was damaged in a January landslide.
