Cal Poly junior guard Drake Uu broke two bones in his left hand during the Cal Poly mens basketball teams 77-74 win over UC Irvine, head coach Joe Callero confirmed Sunday.
Hell meet with a specialist in the morning, Callero said. He has motion in his thumb, index finger and his middle finger, but not in the ring finger and the pinky.
Callero said the injury may sideline Uu for a few weeks, but the coaching staff will continuously reevaluate him as the week progresses.
Well approach it day-to-day, Callero said, But it might be more minutes for Jordan (Lewis), Maliik (Love) and probably for Matt Titchenal. All three of those guys are all capable and have contributed throughout the season.
Uu is averaging 6.1 points per game and 3.7 rebounds per game off the bench.
