Creek rescue in San Luis Obispo

San Luis Obispo city firefighters and police officers responded to a man who had tumbled into Stenner Creek near Chorro Street about 8 p.m. Wednesday. The street was blocked while firefighters used the ladder truck and a rescue basket to lift the man more than 20 feet to the street, where EMTs from San Luis Ambulance waited with a gurney. The victim's condition wasn't known early Thursday. Read more »
