Central Coast veterans are being asked to attend a breakfast with their congresswoman Feb. 20 to ask questions about their health and education benefits.
Rep. Lois Capps, D-Santa Barbara, will host the get-together, which will last from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Santa Maria Veterans’ Memorial building, 313 W. Tunnel St.
Expecting a sizable turnout, Capps is asking those who plan to attend to email her office at CappsVetsBreakfastRSVP@gmail.com.
Capps is running for re-election this year against former Lt. Gov. Abel Maldonado, a Republican.
