Solar projects on the Carrizo Plain

Construction activity is ramping up on two large commercial solar projects on the Carrizo Plain: the 250-megawatt California Valley Solar Ranch by SunPower Corp. and the 550-megawatt Topaz Solar Farm by First Solar.
