Months of road closures expected in Atascadero during work on Hwy. 101/41 interchange

Motorists should expect various road closures in Atascadero until summertime while Caltrans installs landscaping and irrigation systems at the Highway 101/41 interchange. The work starts Monday, and closures will be intermittent for the next several months.

The possible closures include:

  • On- and off-ramps at the interchange: Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Highway 41: Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Fridays from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Shoulders on Highway 101: Monday through Friday from 11:45 p.m. to 1 p.m.
  • El Camino Real: Monday through Friday from 11:45 p.m. to 6 a.m. and Monday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 11:55 p.m.

    • The contractor for the $551,000 project is Clean Cut Landscape in Clovis.
