San Luis Obispo police are investigating a report of indecent exposure that happened Sunday evening in the 1700 block of Spooner Drive.
A girl, whom police did not identify, was walking down the street about 5 p.m. when she was passed by a man in his 40s riding a mountain bike, according to a news release.
The man stopped to urinate in the street, exposed himself to the girl and asked her to come over to him.
She ran away and the man left on the bike. Police checked the area but did not locate him. He is described as being 5 feet, 4 inches tall, with brown hair in a ponytail, some stubble and last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, brown cargo shorts and gloves.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 781-7317 or Crime Stoppers at 549-7867.
