One woman was taken to Arroyo Grande Community Hospital with what the California Highway Patrol has described as minor injuries after a single-car crash along southbound Highway 101 just north of Price Street Saturday afternoon, according to paramedics’ radio dispatches.
Southbound traffic was snarled through Shell Beach past Spyglass Drive as of 4:45 p.m., according to views from Caltrans traffic cameras along the freeway.
A witness told the CHP that a car had hit a guardrail on the right side of the freeway, and then the vehicle ended up in the center divider, according to the agency’s media website. Radio dispatches had referred to the car having overturned.
