Arroyo Grande City Council. Meets Tuesday. 473-5400. Review strategies to reduce a projected $700,000 shortfall in fiscal year 2012-13 budget; consider placing a bond measure and a possible property tax increase to finance a new police station on the June ballot; consider ballot measure asking voters to approve purchasing water from the California State Water Project.

Atascadero City Council. Meets Tuesday. 461-5000. Acting as the Atascadero Redevelopment Agency board, vote on a list of projects and services the agency requests to be paid before its state-mandated dissolution; plumbing contract for historic City Administration Building rehabilitation project; updates from the city manager; updates from council members on their committee appointments.

Grover Beach City Council and Improvement Agency Board of Directors. Meets tonight. 473-4567. Take actions required as part of the state-mandated dissolution of the Grover Beach Improvement Agency and decide whether to elect to retain the housing assets and functions previously performed by the agency.

Nipomo Community Services District Board of Directors. Meets Wednesday. 929-1133. Review district strategic plan; discuss future consideration of a water restriction ordinance.

Oceano Community Services District Board of Directors. Meets Wednesday. 481-6730. Review draft letter regarding saltwater intrusion into the local groundwater table; discuss agreement in place with Arroyo Grande to provide water; response to the San Luis Obispo County Integrated Waste Management Authority’s recent vote banning plastic grocery bags.

Paso Robles Planning Commission. Meets Tuesday. 237-3888. Proposed 39.5-acre equestrian facility on 67 acres south of Dry Creek Road; proposed microbrewery at 525 Pine St.; replace cellular antenna with a dish at the Paso Robles Landfill off Highway 46 East and bring its existing facility into compliance with the zoning code.

Pismo Beach Planning Commission. Meets Tuesday. 773-4658. Consider permit for 915-square-foot roof terrace expansion at SeaCrest OceanFront Hotel at 2241 Price St.

San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors. Meets Tuesday. 781-5011. Proposed agreement for the sphere of influence update between the city of Paso Robles and the county of San Luis Obispo, affecting what areas the city could annex in the future.

San Luis Obispo County Planning Commission. Meets Thursday. 781-7114. Discussion about zip lining, bungee jumping and similar recreational activities that aren’t classified under current regulations.

  • Don't use all capital letters. That's akin to yelling and not appreciated by the audience.
