The Mission Prep girls basketball team staved off a late St. Bonaventure run to defeat the Seraphs 51-47 on Saturday at home.
Jenna Dunbar scored 20 points, and Bri Harvey had 19 as the Royals (19-1) held on for victory.

Dunbar also tallied six assists, and Harvey led Mission Prep with seven rebounds.
Makenna Hill led St. Bonaventure with 23 points, 15 of which came in the fist half. Hill was then held to four points in both the third and fourth quarters when Royals head coach John Krossa switched Connor Storlie to defend Hill.
“Her defense was great tonight,” Krossa said. “Hill was gonna have a 30-point plus game until we switched Connor on to her.”
BOYS BASKETBALL
Palma 69, Mission Prep 66, OT
Connor Woolpert hit one of his game-high six 3-pointers with 2.7 seconds left in regulation to force overtime, capping a 25-14 fourth quarter for the Royals, but Mission Prep (17-4) was outscored 9-6 in the extra frame in a home loss.
Noah Allen scored 26 to lead the Chieftains.
Woolpert finished 6 of 11 from 3-point range and teammate Andy Rowley, who scored 19 points to go with eight assists, was 3 of 5. The Royals shot 42 percent as a team from behind the arc.
Quinton Adlesh scored 14, and Zach Allmon had 11 points and 10 rebounds before fouling out for Mission Prep.
BOYS SOCCER
Coast Union 4, Liberty 1
Luis DeAlba scored twice, and Diego Pena and Eduardo Padilla added one goal each as the Broncos (8-2-2) cruised to victory.
Juan Leonardo had five saves for Coast Union.
WRESTLING
Gilroy Mid Cal Classic
Paso Robles (6-1 PAC 7) placed fourth overall in the 72-team tournament.
Gilroy placed first, Selma placed second and Turlock finished in third.
The Bearcats had five place-winners including second-place Deonte Willis (220 pounds), third-place Kevin Garcia (140) and Robby Standley (115), fifth-place Trevor Torres (108) and seventh-place Zach Holmes (122). Morro Bay Sam Boyd Invitational
Atascadero’s Abe Halterman (132 pounds) placed third, going 5-1 over the two-day tournament.
Matt Weir (120, 5-2) placed fourth, Andrew Bittle (220, 4-2) placed sixth, Jack Clemmensen (126) placed seventh and Daniel Santos (138) placed eighth for Atascadero.

GIRLS TRACK
State Indoor Meet
Templeton’s Savannah Camacho, who recently committed to Oklahoma State, set a meet record when she won the 800 meters with a time of 2 minutes, 12.3 seconds at the meet in Fresno.
It is believed to be the fastest time in the nation indoors this season, according to Camacho’s distance coach, Jim Barodte.
