Wes Feighner became the second Cal Poly men’s soccer player in as many years to be drafted professionally as the former left back for the Mustangs was picked during the fourth round of Tuesday’s Major League Soccer Supplemental Draft by the Seattle Sounders FC.
Taken with the 72nd overall selection in the draft, Feighner started 67 of the 68 matches he appeared in for Cal Poly and was named to the all-Big West second team twice.
Feighner was named the 2011 Big West Male Athlete-Scholar of the Year.
