Pismo Beach has hired a new administrative services director to succeed George Edes, who retired after eight years with the city.
Nadia Feeser starts Tuesday and will oversee the citys finances, as well as its information technology services and risk management program. She will earn $116,723 annually.
Feeser has more than nine years' experience in municipal city government finance positions, according to a news release from the city.
She previously worked five years for the city and county of San Francisco, most recently as chief financial officer for the planning department, which had a $25 million operating budget.
Feeser has a bachelors degree in business administration from Birmingham Southern College and a masters degree in public administration from the Rockefeller College of Public Policy, State University of New York at Albany.
More than 80 applicants were screened for the job by executive search firm Teri Black and Co.
