The second Chipotle Mexican Grill in San Luis Obispo opened Wednesday at the Madonna Plaza.

It employs about 25 people, said Chris Arnold, communications director for the Denver-based chain.

Chipotle's first San Luis Obispo location is on Higuera Street. It opened in March 2010.

Chipotle opened about 130 new restaurants last year and is slated to open up to 165 additional restaurants this year, said Arnold.
