Five different scorers led the Arroyo Grande girls water polo team (16-2, 5-0 PAC 7) to a 7-3 victory in its rematch against Paso Robles on Tuesday, preserving its undefeated league record.
The Eagles’ Katie Svercheck and Melanie Popovich each scored a game-high two goals. Madison Ochotoema, Alexis Elias and Morgan Clark added one goal apiece.

Arroyo Grande led 5-3 entering the fourth quarter, and Eagles goalie Kylie Anderson perserved the win by shutting the Bearcats out in the quarter. She had seven saves in the game.
Despite the loss, the game marked an improvement for Paso Robles (7-8, 2-2) since their 13-0 defeat the last time the two teams met.
Marti Rae Grois led the Bearcats with a game-high 11 saves, and Zoe Zepp, Stephanie Smith, and Lauren Rodriguez each recorded goals for Paso Robles.
San Luis Obispo 15, St. Joseph 1
The Tigers took an 8-0 lead after one quarter to cruise to the win.
Seven different players scored for San Luis Obispo (10-7, 3-1 PAC 7), including Elizabeth Waddell, who led with a game-high five goals. Emma Tietje and Kacie Gin each added three for the Tigers.
San Luis Obispo goalie Zoe Berkowitz had eight saves.
Coast Union 55, Orcutt 43
Despite a four-point halftime deficit, the Broncos (6-5, 3-1 Coast Valley) defeated Orcutt Academy behind a second-half surge.
Led by Angel Avina’s game-high 22 points, Coast Union held Orcutt to four points in the third quarter to take the lead.
The Broncos’ Quinten Raethke followed close behind in scoring with 17 points and three 3-pointers.
North County Christian 47, Maricopa 43
Daniel Katches had 17 points and 20 rebounds, Jonathan Katches had seven points and 15 rebounds, and the Crusaders defeated Maricopa.
Austin Wiemann also scored 11 points and had five assists for North County Christian (5-8, 3-2 CVL).
Valley Christian 52, Coastal Christian 30
The Conquerors (2-2, 2-4 CVL) were outscored 24-11 in the first quarter and could not recover in their loss to the Lions.
Two Coastal Christian players had double-doubles. Amy Arnold scored 13 points with 12 rebounds, and Roni Garison tallied 10 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
Una Hertzog led Valley Christian with a game-high 19 points.
North County Christian 55, Maricopa 39
Brianna Feld scored a team-high 25 points, becoming just the fourth player in program history to score 1,000 career points.
Feld also had five steals and seven rebounds in the win for North County Christian (5-1, 4-1 CVL). Mandy Legault scored 11 points.
Coast Union 2, Morro Bay 2
Morro Bay used a second-half goal to tie Coast Union.
Victor Casas and Luis DeAlba both scored for Coast Union (6-1-2). Juan Leonardo had three saves.

Nipomo 2, Lompoc 1
The Titans (7-4-2, 3-1-1 Los Padres) took an early 2-0 lead to defeat the Braves.
Dani Diaz scored first, off an assist from Kaitlyne Fernandez. Christina Ozzimo nailed the second goal that sealed the victory for Nipomo. The Titans’ Brianna Gonzales tallied five saves.
Coast Union 2, Morro Bay 1
The Pirates (0-12-1, 0-2-1 CVL) remained winless after the Broncos scored a pair of late-game goals.
The match was scoreless until Coast Union notched goals in the 72nd and 75th minute.
Morro Bay got on the board in the last minute of play with a goal from Sanja Peter, off an assist from Macie Burgeson, but it wasn’t enough for the victory.
Hanna Meisinger was in goal during the first half and had four saves for the Pirates. Brook McCleman took over in the second half and earned two saves.
Atascadero 81, St. Joseph 0; Atascadero 51, Pioneer Valley 25
The Greyhounds improved to 10-0 overall and 4-0 in PAC 7 with two wins over the Knights and the Panthers.
Nipomo 34, Santa Ynez 33
The Titans (2-0 CVL) defeated the Pirates in a close dual that came down to the final match.
Jared Dorado defeated Blake Chavez by decision at 195 pounds in the final match.
Nipomo’s 126-pound freshman call-up, Mick Kimball, defeated returning league champion Stephen Fields, also by decision.
Morro Bay 66, Lompoc 18
All of the Pirates (1-1 LPL) who wrestled earned pins in Morro Bay’s win. No other information was provided.
