Arroyo Grande City Council. Meets Tuesday. 473-5400. Vote on the city’s 2010 Urban Water Management Plan, which if approved would be sent to the state Department of Water Resources; resolutions regarding dissolution of the Arroyo Grande Redevelopment Agency; expected appointment of Councilman Tim Brown as the mayor pro tem for a one-year term.

Atascadero City Council. Meets Tuesday. 461-5000. Recommendations for disbursing $170,000 in federal grant money, occupancy permit for a residential care center at 9525 Gallina Court; recommendations for $170,000 in federal grant funding; establishment of a successor agency after the city’s Redevelopment Agency is dissolved.

Lucia Mar Unified School District Board of Education. Meets Tuesday. 474-3000. Report on phasing in new kindergarten entry date over three years; agreement between district and New Tech Network, the organization that helps public high schools start the New Tech High model.

Morro Bay City Council. Meets Tuesday. 772-6200. Hear a request by the Morro Bay Harbor Festival to waive its annual city services fee of $7,946.47; expected appointments of Jamie Boucher as city clerk and Councilwoman Nancy Johnson as vice mayor for 2012.

Nipomo Community Services District Board of Directors. Meets Wednesday. 929-1133. Review draft letter to property owners within proposed tax district that would fund water pipeline project from Santa Maria to Nipomo; authorize application for federal loan to assist Woodlands Mutual Water Co. in paying for its share of the pipeline.

Paso Robles Planning Commission. Meets Tuesday. 237-3888. Recreational vehicle resort on Golden Hill Road; new 21,000-square-foot warehouse building at 3003 Rollie Gates Drive; abandonment of portions of the former rights-of-way for Navajo Avenue and South River Road.

Pismo Beach Planning Commission and Parks and Recreation Commission. Meets Tuesday. 773-4658. Consider permit to place a two-stall restroom next to the playground area at Spyglass Park; amendments to zoning code to reduce the parking requirement for studio and one-bedroom units from one-and-a-half spaces per unit to one space per 601 square feet.

San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors. Meets Tuesday. 781-5011. Appointment of a new chairman and vice chairman.

San Luis Obispo County Planning Commission. Meets Thursday. 781-7114. Hearing on proposed 130-space recreational vehicle resort at the northeast corner of Highway 101 and Wellsona Road north of Paso Robles; hearing on wine production center and tasting room at 3875 Peachy Canyon Road west of Paso Robles.

San Luis Obispo County Integrated Waste Management Authority. Meets Wednesday. 782-8530. Proposed ordinance to outlaw single-use plastic bags at stores countywide.

Templeton Community Services District Board of Directors. Meets Tuesday. 434-4900. Committee appointments; proposed countywide plastic bag ban; Fire Department grant.

  • Stay on topic. Only post comments relevant to the article at hand. If you want to discuss an issue with a specific user, click on his profile name and leave him a public message.
  • Do not copy and paste outside material into the comment box.
  • Don't repeat the same comment over and over. We heard you the first time.
  • Do not use the commenting system for advertising. That's spam and it isn't allowed.
  • Don't use all capital letters. That's akin to yelling and not appreciated by the audience.
