A San Miguel man was arrested by San Luis Obispo County sheriffs deputies Wednesday evening after he allegedly slashed a neighbor twice with a kitchen knife.
According to a Sheriffs Office news release, Felipe Martinez Nicolas entered the victims home in Casa Blanca Mobile Home Park just before 9 p.m. An argument ensued, after which the victim was slashed with a knife on the back and arm, according to sheriffs spokesman Rob Bryn. Martinez, whose age has not been determined, then fled the area, police say.
Deputies found the knife nearby and later located Martinez, who was taken into custody without incident and booked into County Jail on charges of assault with a deadly weapon.
