The Cal Poly wrestling team has signed seven wrestlers to national letters of intent, including four California state high school placewinners.
The California recruits include Kyle Chene (Newport Beach, Santa Ana College), who placed second in the California Community College State Championships at 141 pounds last season, Blake Kastl (Half Moon Bay, St. Paris Graham High), Conner King (Poway, Poway), Victor Perriera (Newark, Newark Memorial) and Justin Walker (Oakley, De La Salle).
Rounding out the class is Devon Lolito (Bethlehem, Penn., Liberty) and Colt Shorts (McMurray, Penn., Canon-McMillan), who finished third and second, respectively, in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Championships last season as seniors.
San Luis Obispo High is seeking a junior varsity softball coach.
