Funds raised will go to the Volunteer Firefighters, who are a major sponsor of the event.
The parade kicks off at 6 p.m. from 14th Street and wends south through town to Fr. Reginald Park, where it turns around and comes back.

Afterward, Santa will greet children at the Fire House.
The Lillian Larsen School Board of Directors has approved the Almond Acres Charter School for Lillian Larsen campus. The school will open in August, 2012, with the beginning of the new school year. The Charter School will be part of the San Miguel School District, with their own administration.
Kindergarten through sixth grade classes will be held in a wing of portable classrooms already in place, which will be leased, and have access to the gymnasium and grounds.
Jill Ogorsolka, who has been one of the leading advocates of the charter school, said they will work together to blend school schedules for everyones convenience.
The San Miguel Chamber of Commerce is steadily going forward. There has been a lot of interest from both individuals and businesses.
Miki Landseadel, who is spearheading the effort, is gratified with the progress.
The deadline to become a charter member is Dec. 31, which is not that far away.
