Presentations from the San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control District and State Parks on the district’s proposed regulations designed to reduce the amount of dust coming from the Oceano Dunes; provide direction to the council-appointed representative on the air board.
Grover Beach Planning Commission. Meets Tuesday. 473-4520. Plan for major exterior and interior remodel and 756-square-foot addition to the McDonald’s restaurant at 1550 W. Grand Ave.; consider additions totaling 576 square feet to the English Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses’ center at 1279 S. 13th St.; request from State Parks to demolish the entry kiosk to Pismo State Beach and construct a 206-square-foot kiosk about 80 feet west of the current one.
Nipomo Community Services District Board of Directors. Meets Wednesday. 929-1133. Presentation and overview of water supply challenges on the Nipomo Mesa.
Oceano Community Services District Board of Directors. Meets Wednesday. 481-6730. Proposed trash pickup rate increase; resolution that would allow any board member to attend and participate in board meetings of the South San Luis Obispo County Sanitation District if the Oceano board president is unable to attend.
Paso Robles Planning Commission. Meets Tuesday. 237-3888. Proposed dog park adjacent to the Paso Robles Park at 270 Scott St.; proposed towing service and vehicle impound yard on Tractor Way for Alliance Towing.
Pismo Beach Planning Commission. Meets Tuesday. 773-4658. Proposed changes to the city’s amateur radio antenna policy.
San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors. Meets Tuesday. 781-5011. Expanding and clarifying regulations for public and other organized events throughout the county; locally implementing the Williamson Act — a property tax break for farmers who agree not to build on their land; adding $57,000 in pay to consultant Marine Research Specialists’ contract regarding proposed Excelaron oil extraction in Huasna.
