Level 4 restaurant and bar at 1216 Park St. in Paso Robles has closed.
A representative for Compass Health, the company that has owned Level 4 for the last two years, refused to comment about why the business is no longer in operation. However, a former employee said she saw it coming.
“We just couldn’t get enough people down there,” said Marissa Leal, a former employee who handled events and marketing for Level 4. “I think being located down in the basement, we just didn’t get enough traffic. It was just really difficult.”
Level 4 officially closed its doors last month. The building is for lease. According to Leal, several people have inquired about the unique underground space, but no one has signed a lease.
