Paso Robles police are trying to identify and find a pair of men wanted on suspicion of burglarizing a vehicle and checking out some others.
The men were caught on a home video system checking some cars parked in the 2700 block of Stonebrook Circle on Oct. 21. That same day, police took a theft report from an owner of a car that was parked in that area. The owner said $65 worth of items had been taken from inside the car. Fingerprint evidence was gathered, but the video evidence is better, police said.
The video shows a suspect approaching a drivers side door of a truck parked in a driveway. The white man tries to open the locked door before walking away; the man is about 35 to 45 years old and 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 6 inches in height with a stocky build.
The primary suspect also walked with a slight limp and was balding, with hair along the sides and back of his head.
A second suspect is visible in the background approaching a car across the street.
