Arroyo Grande City Council. Meets Tuesday. 473-5400. Amend contract regarding retirement system for local police employees; consider whether to maintain two-hour restricted parking in the Village on West Branch and East Branch streets between Traffic Way and Mason Street, and on Bridge Street off West Branch Street, and eliminate all other existing restricted two-hour and 30-minute parking in the Village.

Atascadero City Council. Meets Tuesday. 461-5000. Vacation leave accrual policy; changes to the restaurant stimulus loan program; update on City Council goals.

Grover Beach City Council. Meets Monday. 473-4567. Update on funding and scope of project to improve West Grand Avenue area; update on city’s five-year capital improvement program.

Morro Bay City Council. Meets Tuesday. 772-6200. Consideration of an amendment to the city code concerning submitting business license applications to the police chief and City Council.

Oceano Community Services District Board of Directors. Meets Wednesday. 481-6730. Review draft letter and response on particulate matter and Air Pollution Control District’s study that attributes high dust levels on the Nipomo Mesa to dune buggy riding in the Oceano Dunes.

Paso Robles Planning Commission. Meets Tuesday. 237-3888. Developing an emergency shelter ordinance; recommendation that a planned property purchase at the northeast corner of South River Road and Charolais Road is consistent with city plans for growth.

San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors. Meets Tuesday. 781-5011. Budget and work priorities for drainage and flood mitigation efforts in Oceano; give staff direction on final resolution that would allow the Nipomo Community Services District to levy a new tax to finance its proposed pipeline to bring water from Santa Maria.

  • Do not attack other users; focus your comments on issues, not individuals.
  • Stay on topic. Only post comments relevant to the article at hand. If you want to discuss an issue with a specific user, click on his profile name and leave him a public message.
  • Do not copy and paste outside material into the comment box.
  • Don't repeat the same comment over and over. We heard you the first time.
  • Do not use the commenting system for advertising. That's spam and it isn't allowed.
  • Don't use all capital letters. That's akin to yelling and not appreciated by the audience.
