Chipotle Mexican Grill plans to open a second restaurant in San Luis Obispo.
Chris Arnold, communications director for the Denver-based chain, said the new restaurant is slated to open at Madonna Plaza late this year and will employ about 25 people. He declined to disclose more information.
According to the companys website, Chipotle opened about 130 new restaurants last year and is slated to open 145 additional restaurants this year.
As of Dec. 31, Chipotle operated 1,084 restaurants in the United States, including165 in California, two restaurants in Toronto and one in London. It employs about 26,500 people.
