It wasnt easy running the ball, we had to slug it out inside, but our offensive line gave VanderVeen plenty of time to throw all game,
Arroyo Grande coach Tom Goossen said. With our receivers and VanderVeens quality and good choices, he has a good chance of connecting all game long.
Garrett Owens was VanderVeens favorite target on the night, as he caught eight passes for 172 yards and a touchdown. Owens, also had two field goals and two extra points.
VanderVeen spread the ball around, as eight different Eagles had receptions, including touchdown catches by Grant Alton and Grant Talley.
