Carried by four top-nine individual finishes, the Nipomo High girls cross country team went 6-0 Wednesday afternoon to win the Los Padres League midseason dual meets held in Morro Bay.
Kyra Meko paced the Titans, coming in third with a 5K time of 19 minutes, 17 seconds, followed in fourth by teammate Gracie Albano at 19:33. Cassie Dittenhoefer (sixth at 19:40) and Michaela Holland (ninth in 19:43) also finished in the top 10 for Nipomo.

Santa Ynez’s Jessica Meyers won the race in 18:24.
Freshman Madeline Ogle finished in seventh at 19:42 to lead Morro Bay. The Pirates, who finished as the runner-up in the team standings with a 5-1 head-to-head record, also got an 11th-place finish from Rachael Jelstrom in 19:53.
Templeton was led by freshman Veronica Russell, who crossed in 19:49. Ann Taylor added a 12th-place showing for the fourth-place Eagles (3-3) in 19:54. Templeton senior Savannah Camacho, the three-time defending LPL cross country champion and a perennial state championship contender in the 800 meters in track and field, didn’t run in Wednesday’s meet.
On the boys side, Cabrillo (6-0) won, aided by the first-place time of 15:40 posted by Tyler Milstein.
Locally, Alex Hascall of Nipomo (0-6) posted the top time, coming in eighth place at 16:13.
Templeton (1-5), which came in sixth as a team, placed two runners in the top 20 — Eimon Ford (in 16th at 16:44) and Jacob Gray (18th at 16:47).
Billy Vedrin led fifth-place Morro Bay (2-4) in 17th at 16:46, and teammate Daniel Van Beurden was 21st at 16:51.
GIRLS TENNIS
Arroyo Grande 15, Mission Prep 3
Alex Mero swept in singles for the Eagles, going 6-2, 6-1, 6-1.
Freshman Melina Rodgers won two singles sets for Arroyo Grande, 7-6 (7-1), 6-2.
The Eagles (15-1) also got a 6-0, 6-1, 6-0 sweep in doubles from Brianna Flood and Alexis Flood.
For Mission Prep, Ruslana Cannell won two sets, 6-3, 6-2.

D.J. Marcy scored two goals for the Pirates.
Juan Olabe Armendariz made four saves and also scored a goal for Morro Bay.
