Arroyo Grande City Council. Meets Tuesday. 473-5400. Whether to use state money allocated to local law enforcement agencies to replace and expand the Arroyo Grande Police Department’s radio communications equipment; process for updating the economic development element, one part of the city’s general plan — its blueprint for regulating growth.

Atascadero City Council. Meets Tuesday. 461-5000. Lake Park Sign and Frontage Project; Oak Grove II development at 1225 El Camino Real; proposed General Plan amendment applications for parcels on Halcon Road and Viejo Camino and Alondra and Santa Barbara roads.

Morro Bay City Council. Meets Tuesday. 772-6200. Consider an ordinance that would establish a two-tier pension system for new employees.

Nipomo Community Services District Board of Directors. Meets Wednesday. 929-1133. Public hearing to consider proposed water-rate increase and whether it might get a majority vote of district ratepayers.

Oceano Community Services District Board of Directors. Meets Wednesday. 481-6730. Review revised letter to county supervisors in support of Nipomo project to purchase supplemental water from Santa Maria; discuss district’s role in South County flood protection; select auditor for 2009-10 financial reports.

Pismo Beach Planning Commission. Meets Tuesday. 773-4658. Remodel of existing single-family residence and 292-square-foot addition along Ocean Boulevard.

  • Do not attack other users; focus your comments on issues, not individuals.
  • Stay on topic. Only post comments relevant to the article at hand. If you want to discuss an issue with a specific user, click on his profile name and leave him a public message.
  • Do not copy and paste outside material into the comment box.
  • Don't repeat the same comment over and over. We heard you the first time.
  • Do not use the commenting system for advertising. That's spam and it isn't allowed.
  • Don't use all capital letters. That's akin to yelling and not appreciated by the audience.

You should also know that The Tribune does not screen comments before they are posted. You are more likely to see inappropriate comments before our staff does, so we ask that you click the "report abuse" button to submit those comments for moderator review. You also may notify us via email at webmaster@thetribunenews.com. Note the headline on which the comment is made and tell us the profile name of the user who made the comment. Remember, comment moderation is subjective. You may find some material objectionable that we won't and vice versa.
